While we definitely recommend taking lessons or hiring a guide and benefitting from our experience and knowledge we also recognize folks come with their own skills and abilities. Here’s a range of what we will rent based on individual experience and conditions.

Price: $10/half day and $15/full day. Multi day rates available.

 

Whether you are an experienced surfer looking for a secluded surf spot off the beaten path, or whether it is your first time attempting to get up on a surf board, let us enhance your surfing experience here in Santa Catalina. With a profound respect for the local surfing community we offer a wide array of options to suit your surfing needs.

We have a wide range of boards for rent. Longboards, soft tops, short boards, fun boards and fishes. Our rental fleet includes Stewart Longboards, BOA (links), LOST, and Bics to name a few ranging from 9.2 to 6.3.

SUP rentals Santa catalina

Price: 1/2 day $30, Full day $40

 

We are happy to offer touring SUP’s. Stand up paddle boarding is a great way to explore the coastline, secluded beaches or paddle out to Santa Catalina Island for the day or a few hours. We are using high volume, quality boards designed for touring, not for wave surfing. We don’t want to add SUP’s to the surfing point break but we’re excited to offer SUP’s for touring, exploration, on-water yoga and exercise.

Pricing

  • Single:    $25/half day   $40/day   $70/overnight   $200/weekly

  • Double:   $35/half day   $50/day   $90/overnight   $270/weekly

We keep a small fleet of kayaks in our shop in Santa Catalina for our local day tours, lessons and for rentals.

If you wish to rent our quality gear and go out on a self-guided trip we rent our kayaks, based on availability. We reserve the right not to rent our gear to individuals based on experience and/or conditions. 

Kayak rentals include: ea kayak, paddles, pfd, sponge or bailer, spray skirt.

Inquire about outfitting for self guided journeys (camping, charts and safety gear available for rent)

**A fully refundable deposit is required prior to renting our gear. Renters are responsible for the return of the equipment in the same condition that it is received, and are responsible to pay in full for any repairs or replacement if the equipment is damaged or lost. Renters are required to complete and sign an equipment rental agreement prior to release.
